Susan Hiller’s most important solo exhibitions in the UK include those at the ICA, London, 1986; Tate Liverpool, 1996; Matt’s Gallery, 1980, 2008, and 2013; Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead, 2004 and a major retrospective at Tate Britain, 2011. Outside of the UK, recent solo exhibitions include From Here to Eternity, Kunsthalle Nürnberg (2012); Magic Lantern, Index, Stockholm 2006, and Susan Hiller: Recall – A Selection of Works 1969-2004, Museu Serralves, Porto, 2004 and Kunsthalle Basel, 2005.

 

Hiller’s upcoming solo exhibitions for 2014 include those at Anne & Gordon Samstag Museum of Art, Adelaide International 2014; Les Abattoirs, Toulouse; The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Canada, and the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Art (with Daria Martin).
