Angela Heisch Solo Exhibition at K11 Art Museum, Shanghai

Angela Heisch’s solo exhibition, ‘As above, so below’ is on view at K11, Shanghai until 3 March 2024. Showcasing 29 works, ‘As above, so below’ is the artist’s inaugural exhibition in China and her largest exhibition to date.

 

Angela Heisch (b. 1989, Auckland, New Zealand) lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She received a BA Fine Arts from University at Potsdam, SUNY, NY (2011) and an MFA from University at Albany, SUNY, NY (2014).  Her recent solo and two person exhibitions include As above, so below, K11 Art Museum, Shanghai (2023); As above, so below, GRIMM, NY (2023);  Low Speed Highs, Pippy Houldsworth Gallery, London (2023); Gilded Slides, GRIMM, Amsterdam (2022); Burgeon and Remain, Pippy Houldsworth Gallery, London (2021); Figures, Faces, Places, Davidson Gallery, NY (2020-2019); Springs, Projet Pangée, Montréal (2020); Heed, Transmitter Gallery, NY (2019); Resting Position, Gallery 106 Green, NY (2018); and Key In, Key Out, One River School, Allendale (2017). Recent group exhibitions include Now, Museu Inimá de Paula, Brazil (2023); All Eyes II, AkzoNobel Art Foundation, Amsterdam (2023); I Do My Own Stunts, Spazio Amanita, NY (2022); Present Generations, Columbus Museum of Art, OH (2021-2022); and Romancing the Surface, GRIMM Gallery, Amsterdam (2021).
